This stuff grows on a few of my rocks and it looks like red bubbles, it seems kind of hard but I have not tried to squeeze it too much because i don't want it to spread. Can anyone help me out with an ID.

This stuff grows on only one rock in my whole tank, I have pulled it off before and it grew back right in the same spot, and ID would be great. Sorry about the picture my camera is not that good.

I have had this tank up for almost a year and I have never seen this things before until today. It looks like a sail but with no shell or a soft shell it was hard to tell and its about the size of an eraser on a pencil. Let me know if you think it should be removed.
