Hi, a friend of mine is having a slight problem with his corals... The corals are closing up (all of them) but opening up all tentacles even when the light is on... What might be the problem ? Thanks ;)

Hi Guys, What shall I use to test the proper salinity in my water ? A refractometer or a Hydrometer ... OR BOTH ? And what is the main difference ? Is it just accuracy ? Thanks a lot Eric ;)

The salinity is now good and the torch coral is still closed. The torch is a new coral which I added recently... Maybe it's still stressed ?

So, I had my aquarium running for a month cycle now and the parameters are all correct. I bought corals (Torch & Frogspawn) and acclimated them into the tank. The torch wasn't opening as it should so I did a salinity test and found out it was 1.018 which was not good. I did a water change...
