    glass tops?

I have heard of people using something like an egg carton, not the styrofoam kind, but the card board kind. I have an open top, was told not to use glass also and just didnt like the idea of having egg cartons on the top of my tank.

    algea eaters.

I have some mexican turbo snails, hermit crabs, and mithrax crabs. They seem to do a good job on my algae. I dont think you will ever get away from having to scrape your glass. I have to scrape mine at least twice a week. My long spine sea urchin helps also.

    Help!!

Everything has reopened, not 100%, but opened none the less. Except my frog spawn, It is still kind of shriveled. My urchin is moving around and not shedding any needles anymore, but some of my coraline algae is white. Does anyone know what could be turning my coraline white?

    Help!!

Day 3 of my saga. I have changed the filter media in my filter, and also done 2 20% water changes. My sea urchin stopped shedding needles and most of my corals are slowly reopening. I have noticed that a lot of my coraline algae is turning white. Does anyone know what that could be from?

    lionfish reefsafe?

i Had a fuzzy dwarf lion. Great fish. After it got over its shy phase had lots of personality. I was told it would eat my decrative shrimp, but he never even bothered my cleaner or coral banded shrimp. He left all my other inverts alone also. In my opinion and expereince they are very reef safe.
