I have a slight problem of a mantis shrimp in My 100 gal aquarium have a trap in there but so far no good..... can any one give a suggestion how to get him out? thanks Robert

hello all I posted the other day about getting an aquarium/fish/corals and all..... well the move went good no loses but I was curious what to feed. they ( the previous owners were feeding frozen brine but I kind of thought this might not be enough nutrients for the fish fish: 1 tank...

I am going tonight to look at and probably buy a 90 gal tank set up with rock fish corals pumps skimmer lighting the whole thing... the tank has been set up and established for over 2 years according to the owners.... I need to know how to move the tank and inhabitants the best way and...

just curious since clowns feed their anemones do You need to watch and make sure to clean or change them out regulartly to keep water levels good?? just curious for My own info thanks Robert ;)

saw where ya'll were discussing the crabs eating the fish while sleeping... is this more a problem with the emerald or will the hermits do it also? thanks Robert

hello again all... know that posted about the live rock couple days ago well everytime look at find something new.... and have to to ask about one thing... I had one rock that had what I think is an orange sponge that melting/dying.... but inside the sponge was brown mass kinda...

a couple things... first Economic I have a suggestion/ idea you might want to check on for your water... I buy my water from a local bottled water distributor ((the kind that fill the water coolers at businesses and such as that... and pay like .39 cents a gallon that is not that bad...

I have a 100 gal... with so far about 75 lbs of live rock and 170 lbs of live sand.. thanks Coop21 :)

why are horseshoe crabs not good for DSB?? was planning on getting the 100+ clean up crew from this site because it came with them ... is this a bad idea?? :confused:

hello again just watching the live rock and saw something that not sure about well actually lots of different things but wanted ask about this..... have no picture yet but is about 1/4th inch in diameter have spinces around it like an urchin but the top seems to be spineless...

hey ya'll just an update I just got My other 50 lbs of sand and 75 lbs of live rock....... tones of life on them actually starting to look like an aquarium tons of mini stars?/ ((brittle stars half inch in diameter or less as well as a couple red mini stars)) few different...

thanks... only thing is the cucumber is still crawling around doing fine ?? My tank is just set up and still cycling so that could very well be it.. thanks

thanks pufferlover...... also... do You think there is much benefit over cycling with fish versus fishless cycling?

I have another question (( big surprise huh?? LOL)) ok I read somewhere that you could use clowns a lot like damsels to cycle a tank is there any truth to this?? or is it better not to... just wondering because not big on using the damsels then having to recatch them.... thanks again

let Us know when it arrives? am waiting on my liverock then am going to order a clean up crew and looking around but thinking about either the lucky horseshoe or the 100+ gal clean up crew from here... any have any experience with them?
