i got my hands on a biocube this weekend. I was told they thought it was a 29g but when I filled it up and siphoned it out I filled 3x 5gallon buckets and a quarter of another. Also everything I've seen has 3 chambers and this one only has 2. Could this be something other than a biocube? Thanks

The tank hasn't crashed or anything. I just like to test it to make sure everything is ok. I'm new to saltwater and am overly cautious about everything I guess

my test kit does both. I have been testing for total. Is this correct or should I be testing for free ammonia? Thanks

So basically what your telling me is that the 2 lfs I went to are both liars and I should not return to these places. I'm working on a 29g biocube right now so hopefully it will work out and I can move them to that tank soon. I check my parameters every other day and do water changes accordingly...
