    It really depends on what you like and what kind of lighting you have, I have soft corals in my tank, I am not a big SPS fan so stuck with the standard lighting.

    Nothing will eat Majano - you will have to take the rock out and scrub it they are a pain to get out of the tank

    It is only going to have 2 clown fish, I have a 125 that I am moving in a few weeks so will need to house the corals (the fish will find new homes) which is the only reason so far that I set up this tank and the 125 has been set up for 6 years.

    it is only 29 gallons. I am not going to add any more rock simply because I have several big coral rocks to add and I want to make sure the tank has some extra room. If I add more live rock it will limit the ability to add existing colonies and limit to frags.

    Well we made it through the cycle - 30lbs of live sand and 35lbs of live rock.. Oh and the rock had 3 little hermit crabs. Now to come up with a stock list.

    Thanks - it now has water, tomorrow live sand then rock this weekend. I have been around for some time but I have not posted in about a year. Sold everything now starting over. I would be happy to help

    IMO - the larger the tank the easier it is to maintain and it is a lot more forgiving. Which is why my 29 gallon cube is sitting here empty

    sump and skimmer

    I have a sump and skimmer that I used on my 75 gallon cube - it is an older model and it does have bio material - It does not have any pumps with it. $100.00 OBO would have to pick up in WI or might be able to meet I can email pictures.
