I have a Flame Angel in QT for 18 days. About 10 day ago pits above his eye and on head developed. I thought it was HLLE. Today it looks like a small part if his gills are protruding and i caught him scratching on the substrate. Other behavior and eatings habits are fine. Any thoughts?

The red sea ph-alkalinity test kit has alkalinity readings in Milli equaivalents per liter. The low as 0-1.6, normal as 1.7-2.8, and high as 2.9-3.6. I am looking for readings in dKH? Anyone know a conversion to dKH?

My Clown of three months has developed three black dots on its body (not on fins). It does not look like black ich from pictures on the web. A new clown was introduced two weeks ago but it is totally spot free. Appetite and behavior appear normal. Any ideas?
