How many don't use filters or overflows? I just retrofitted my hood and took out the floss filter. All I have is a Skimmer now. Lots of LR and a DSB, just wondering though. Though about putting in an overflow or a Hang on back refugium. :happyfish

I have a 29 ViaAqua tank that I've had forever. Always ran 2 65W PCs. Was thinking of going to 1 150W metal halide and put both PCs 65W actinics in. Should I only put in one? Is 150W MH too much? With all 3 bulbs I'm at 280 watts.

I know a lot of you run moonlights. I'm going to make my own and I was wondering how bright your tanks are when they are on. Are your LEDs shining a "spot beam" at your corals? If so, do you have them pointed right at the corals. Pics would be helpful.

Why are a lot of people switching to T5's? I see that bulbs put out like 24 or 39 watts or whatever but are they BETTER than MHs? Just as good as MHs? I see that they make 6 or even 8 lamp fixtures with a bunch of different spectrums. Any PROs or CONs about them compared to MHs?
