I have had a snowflake eel in my 75 gal reef for 2 years and it is yet to eat anything... i bought it about 6 inches long and now its about 14 inches... i keep snails, crabs, stars, along with a blue tang, fridmandi, lawnmower blenny and 1.5" maroon clown(could easily be eaten by eel)... and...

still looking for more opinions on if it will work or not... hoping i can pull it off with very little die off... should i use live sand or just go cheap and get sand...??

Yeah the crushed coral keeps giving me small nitrate spikes which screws everything up... and the color isnt as nice as sand... so i would really like to get rid of all of it. i am worried to add just live sand.. like u said it would cause and ammonia spike... not real sure what to do... takeing...

i had the opposite... my clown trigger tore appart mine... spine by spine before flipping it over to finish it off...

I contacted the lfs i bought it from and they swore it is just a very colorful pink cladiella... which yes would be a pink colt after i researched it... they said the get them in every once in a while and this one was a little more rare due to its purple tips... so i guess i just hope for the...

the only thing that makes me believe it is not died... is the fact that its not one solid color... it has deep purple tips and then it goes white to pink... its not at all one solid color...They had another one at the lfs that was more white and just a touch of pink to it... this ones colors...
