we do water changes every 2 weeks, about 20-25%, need to invest in a protein skimmer, will cut back on live feed, thanx for the tip

water quality is good, nitrite a little high b/c we feed live food often, goldfish, crawfish, etc. we have had him 3 weeks, he's about 15" but so you know, right after i posted we fed him a crawfish by putting it under rocks so the other fish couldn't get to it and he chowed it down!!

we have a humu, niger, porcu puffer, leaf chin bass.... makes it hard to feed the new eel....he's big but timid

any suggestions??
