i want to get the octous nw 200 skimmer well once i noticed i didnt have room in my sump i thought about this.... can i put the skimmer in my refug but the only part that is big enuff is in the center part where my sand and plants are.... can i put the skimmer on top of the sand with the plants...

ok i just measured my sump and i have 11" x 11" to work within.... the octopus nw200 says footprint 13.25 x 11 is that really the size man that would be 1 big skimmer.... i have the proclear 300 wet/dry that this would be going in.... what other options do i have man i really wanted to get that...

ccampbell57 is it a good skimmer that i wont have to play around with to keep it skimming... or does it just a plug in type and once its set ( thats it ) does it skim alot how many times do you have to empty cup??? thanks for the help
