Just installed a new ASM G2 skimmer in my sump. Anyone with experience tell me how long for the unit to actually start skimming? I assume that there is break in period. I have a 90g that is about 9 months old. This ASM is replacing a Berlin Classic that was more headache than help... Thanks.

I used an Aqua C Pro w/ a mag 3 then tried a mag 5 to see if it would work better. Never did well for me. I then got a Berlin Classic skimmer from a friend. In sump, not a HOB. And it skims great. I dunno, what works for one may not for another?
