    thanks all, I think just to be on the safe side I will drip acclimate, so excited as far as attaching them, they come on LR nuggets, can I just use gel superglue to attach them to my LR?

    hmmmm, I've never heard of this before. I know sea apples are like that but had no idea anemones did it. So its more that they decompose fast and cause ammonia and nitrates spikes than an actual poison?

    yeah I guess what I'm saying is that if you have say a CF, mh, and t5 all at 250w 10,000k running for 8 hours a day, would any of them stand out for algae production.

    I was just wondering if there is a type of lighting that would be prone to cause more of an algae problem. I know that algae is not caused by lighting, but I know it can be accelerated by it. So is there a type of lighting that is more beneficial to have over another as far as controlling aglae?
