Thanks for the advice. Unfortunately, I had to get rid of the coral all together. The nudi's spread too much for me to try to save the piece. Thankfully they were localized on this piece and not anywhere else in my tank.

Sorry, the 1.7-2.8 was using the redsea test kit. I usually dont use those. The readings are in 'ranges' and not very accurate. The 8.3dKH reading was from my Salifert test kit. I was typing too fast to realize i put both measurements down. Sorry. Do you know what those white spots on my monti are?

Spanko, Yes I did. I used R/O water and adjusted the screw until the readings were at 0. I made sure my R/O water reference was at 65 degrees. but later realized that this did not matter because it had ATC. Thanks for asking.
