I agree with the diet problem. I added zoe soaked seaweed to the diet and the problem went a way.

I did pepermints for a couple of months and nothing. Never could get a bergia nudi so I put in a Copperbanded Butterfly. Saw nothing happen for about 4 weeks then poof! every aptasia was gone. It's now been about 2 months and the CBB is hungry but hasn't bothered anything else yet.

Demosthenes Won't sale the lights w/o the tank. Not to good on livestock. Skimmer maybe, What do youi think it's worth?

I'm now at 3 years without skimming and maybe 5 water changes. Tank has never looked better. ( now that I beat that aptasia beast)

Thanks everyone! I have been using a tripod, no flash, 800 fuji, 2000 or 1000 shutter speed (experimenting), and an aperature of 5.6. You say you use 100 speed film? Is mine to fast? I would think faster is better.

I went from 175 watt, 6500 to 10k a month ago. The 10k is a little brighter and whiter but,.... I think the stuff did better before. Obviously shrooms did better, so did an open brain, not sure on a gonipora. Other than that not much difference.

Hey chevron tang, Did i hear you right? No emeralds and clams? I had not heard that yet. What else is bad for a clam? I know my Copperband Butterfly is out as soon as I'm sure the aptasia is gone. What else should I avoid?
