get rid of your crushed coral and get live sand thats a good start but noone like the cc especially with live rock get live sand and go with live rock itll look and work better

leave your filters off they will collect sand and destroy themselves

your best bet is to go with clear silicone i went to a tank site and thats what they recommended the best because of its durability in water and non-toxicity

i have a whisper 20-40 gallon filter i know i will need bio balls in there would that work? and aside from that you are very helpful i will look into cycleing the tank my friend works at the LFS and i believe a can get a 50 percent discount on all saltwater stuff except fish i believe this will...

its really up to you, the fish you want i personally as well like angels but check with your LFS and see what theyre thoughts are

silent bob you need to check those books it could be a phosphate or as mr fixit said a lighting problem check the levels and do a water change dont worry too much but keep an eye on it ive seen small problems that become big problems good luck
