    It is a like the pic above by Kelly. It is fleshy. Seems to still have spots that are trying to grow and other spots that look dead. Should I cut the Dead out?

    Nitrates are good. Cal. is at 450. Phospat is at 1.0. Fish are active and all other corals are doing well. 29 gal. All reef with 3 fish. Lighting is a 50/50 and 10k.

    I have a purple gorganian that look like it is lossing its skin. The base is some what black but purple in spots. I my gorganian on its way to its grave? There has been some little yellow spots on the branches and have removed them. Any suggestion would be great. BCEER@hotmail.com null :confused:

    Algae on live rock

    The tank is 29 with an eclipse system 3 two light system with a 50/50 and 10k bulbs. Feed the fish every morning at about 7 am. Add Calcium 1 to 2 tsp's every 2 to 3 days. Add reef nutrients every 3 day to the system for the coral and filter feeders.

    Algae on live rock

    What is the best way to contro algae on Live Rock. I have a Yellow Tang, some small snails, a reef safe crab, and a Benny. Algae still seems to come back faster and fast. Any suggestion on what to add to help control. This is long green grass like algae.

    I am unable to tell if the worm is still moving. It is showing on the outside a little but feels very soft and lively.

    Are Chocolate chip starfish bad for a reef aquarium? He is very agressive to eat alge and other loose food on the sand.
