    Anybody ever heard of a Maculosus Angelfish?

    AKA Map Angel. I just got a juv about 2 weeks back. He has gorgeous juv colors. He/she seems to like my bi-color dwarf angel alot. Just a gorgeous slow growing peaceful community fish.. He/she got ich around day 2 and probably repelled quicker than any other fish in my systems.

    I'm not going to tell you that those are way to many fish for a 55 because I don't know the size of your fish. So that said, If you are indeed set on the Lion fish I would start the cycle with some small damsels, and see what kind of lion you really have :) . Lionfish of course are by far hands...

    fshhub is correct the Tang is probably out based on the tank size. I would go with a nice purple firefish. These are excellent reef safe fish that stay small up to 3 or so inches. They will contribute a minimal amount of waste to your system as a whole. Beautiful colors and a truly unique fish...

    Its easily water evaporation. I have a 18 gal clear container in my stand for my 125 gal. I place ro water in it and have a pump / sensor setup to fill the sump/refugium when my water evaporates. Its basically maintenance free. We lose about 3 gallons a day in our 125 with the 25 gallon...
