i have a 150 and i just put a gold stripe maroon clown in the tank and the yellow tang is not nipping at it but he is smacking the clown with his tail. Is this normal or is this something i should be concerned with?

ok i have a tunze protein skimmer not sure which one but ive had it running for almost 2 months and there is nothing in the collection cup water is running through it my question is do i need more water running through it to work properly if that makes any sense to anyone.
