    New Tank mates? Or not.

I've read about several people on the forums here keeping dwarfs in a reef. The puffer I've not seen so much. Especially with the dwarf, the more they're fed the less you would have to worry about their tank mates.

    FO to reef tank

Depending on what kind of corals you are going to will determine what type of lighting. T-5 fixtures seem to be a good versatile light, but you don't get the shimmer effect of a metal halide. Just whatever you like there. I think a skimmer should be rated 2x your tank size & flow should be...

Found on Glass, Name this Creature...

I don't think there are any good flatworms. Can be very hard to get rid of. Sixline, manderines sometimes will eat them. Flat worm exit is a chemical treatment for them but follow the directions close.

    Phospsate question

If you have a refugium do you need to run a phosphate reactor also. Isn't one of the purposes of the algea in the refugium to use what phosphates there are in the system. I know there are other reasons for a refugium not just this.

    Question about hrliquin shrimp

Hey all. I have a 125 and the other night I was watching and I counted atleast 25 astereana stars. I've wanted a harliquin but their feeding requirerments have kept me from getting one. If I got one would they find all these stars or not, & how long before they would be gone.

    unheated marine tanks

Depeninding on what kind of tank you are wanting yo keep Metal halide fixtures will heat your tank also. Since I put mine on my tank my heater works only a little in the winter. Our winters are not near as cold as yours, but the light would still heat your water.

    Reef Safe Urchin?

It does look like a long spine urchin. I had a tuxedo urchin in my tank. It was an algea eating machine, but was just as much a bulldozer. It was really pretty to look at & watch move around. I finally had to take it back to my lfs because it was reaquascaping my tank about every other day.
