I would say a penut worm. I'v never seen them come out during the day though. If you watch it really close there should be something coming in and out the end of it. It will look like a minature feather duster if it is a penut worms. They are real beneficial for your tank.

I would not advise using the Beckett pump. I use to service and build watergardens. The beckett, cal, and little giant were the three main pumps that my customers had problems with.

I like watergardening ( Koi ponds ) it too is pretty expensive. I have paid $300-$400.00 for a Japanese Koi. Right now I have a 28,000 gallon watergarden.

It would be nice to have something that big. I would cry if a disease broke out. I would have to go to the bank and take out a loan just to buy meds. My banker would not understand that I needed so much money just to pay for meds for a fish tank. I would like to see an updated pic. I wonder...

I had those nasty looking worms too. I purchases a six line wrasse and they were gone in a matter of days. I did not even put my wrasse in qt. I could not wait for him that long. The worms were killing some of my corals so I put him in my dt rght away and he started eating them after he settled...
