This is the xenia I cut a frag off of -- I can do another frag, but dont want to overdo it -- what do you think????

I had 2 stalks growing close together then it looked like it was going to split so I sliced off one stalk and made 2 frags out of it and they are both growing good and pulsing. Looks like I need to do it again, can you frag one too much????

As mentioned earlier, I am new at this. . . so when you say siphon them off -- I can actually siphon them without it breaking off and spreading around?

I searched green hair algae and now I am worried. We will check the water levels and get that under control. I had no idea how bad that is. Thanks again for the info!

No we are using distilled water. Someone got some of this stuff from a local shop. It wouldnt grow in his tank and he gave it to us. It has been spreading quickly.

Thanks, that helps point me in the right direction. I know one patch is algae of some sort, dont know how to get rid of that. I dont know what the green patch located in the front, left side of the other ricordia.
