    Lopezi Tang

I like the scopas tangs, the younger ones are more colorful. The older they get the darker they get. They are pretty hardy and affordable. Good luck with your choice, I also like the sailfin tangs.

    Lopezi Tang

it is pretty mellow but I do not have him with any other tangs. I know that if you keep them with other tangs that are of the same body shape and color they should be introduced at the same time in odd numbers or they will fight.

    PJ Cardinals

Years back when I had my 180 I had 3 of them and 2 paired up, the male carried his little eggs in his mouth for a day or two but then they dissapeared. They will readily breed in aquaria but the fry are difficult to raise. As for what they eat, anything except algae like Big said. They will...

just picked up a octopus hammer!

I dont have one of that variety but I do have hammer, frogspawn, and torch and I have mine middle to lower part of the tank under pc's and I wouldnt say low flow but not moderate flow either. If it is staying open most of the time and is gently swaying then that is good. My oldest one...

    Black & White Clown (aquacultured)

The royal dottyback and maybe the springeri dottyback and the sixline wrasse are supposed to go after bristle worms but I guess its the same with anything, it depends on the individual specimen. Do a google search for these I mentioned. As for the clowns, I think it could be done with extreme...

    diatoms or cyano?

It sounds to me like Cyano. It grows very quickly if there are sufficient nutrients. Are you testing for phosphate? If so continue using the phosguard untill the level comes down, also check your nitrates and ammonia levels too. One other thing you can do is increase the water flow.

Can a Lawnmower and Redlip Blenny be added together in a 90g reef?

Both blennies mentioned are primarily algae eaters and I have had both. The redlip I had was pretty aggressive and the lawnmower was pretty docile but they were not housed together. Sorry not much help.

Has anybody ever bought a fish from ----

I have ordered from SWF.com several times and have never had a DOA. The only problem I had once is that I ordered mushroom coral streaks and got striped green metalic but that was not a major issue since i already had the "streaks" from a previous order so now I have both. I live in central...

    white cheek? or powder brown?

I like the powder browns also but am sceptical about them. From what I have read about them is that you want to make sure you get Acanthurus japonica as this is the hardier species. I found this on a trusted source of information. Acanthurus (glaucopareius) nigricans (Linnaeus 1958), the...
