Just checking up, I'm no clam expert but I just wanted to make sure that my clam looks ok. Got it about 1-2 weeks ago and I just wanted to make sure you guys think it looks healthy. It is a bad angle but it is the best I could do with my camera.
So my new royal gramma was killed most likely by my anemone bc it was gross and had that sticky stuff all over it...as if it had already been pooped out haha. So the question is should I bring it back and just get like a frogspawn or something for my clowns to host in?? I don't want the anemone...

So I finished cycling a tank and at the end of the cycle I got a bunch fo hair algae. There hasn't been much more hair algae since the original. I was going to go get a Lawnmower Blenny but when I went to the LFS the guy told me I should get a sea hare instead. So I got the sea hae, but he told...
Do clams gain more colors or patterns as they get older? There was a small 1"-1.5" clam at the LFS that was blue with only a few colorful streaks in it. Would be very ebautiful if it had more streaks also how much should a little 1.5" one cost?

If I were to run 2 70 Watt HQI MH bulbs would I need 2 ballast or can I just buy one stronger ballast?
Also what would be the best bulbs to buy for it?
What would be better for a 20 gallon long that I would want to keep anything in.
2-70W MH HQI or nova extreme T5HO 4x24Watt. Or just any 4x24Watt.
Also what does the K mean when it says like 20K bulb or 14K bulb. I know it mean like 20,000 but what is that about?

Should I get a 150watt metal halide or a 96 watt T5 HO fixture. Seems they cost about the same. I want to be able to keep anythign I want in there. Its for a 20 gallon tank.
