Hm. I will use those in the future *jots down in notebook* I woke up this morning and he still hadn't moved... so I removed him from the tank. I guess I'll have to play by the rules and try a damsel later this week. I can't seem to figure out where I went wrong. It's so frustrating! Thank you...

Okay, my levels are as follows: pH: 8.4 Ammonia: 0ppm Nitrate: 0-5 ppm (can't really tell the color, it's somewhere in between those two though) Nitrite: 0ppm A pH like that shouldn't kill though right? The the guy at my LFS said that my levels were fine for an addition to the tank...I guess...

I'll test the water in a bit. No, I didn't add the bagged water, I scooped him out with a net into the tank. That's what I did, though I used a dixie cup rather than a shot glass. ^^;; I kept adding one dixie cup every ten minutes for an hour.

Yep, I acclimated him with a drip acclimation for an hour. Was that bad? I went by what saltwaterfish.com said I should acclimate him for... He still hasn't moved. I'm really worried now.

Well, after an hour's acclimation period, I let the shrimp and turbo into the tank...The turbo seems fine, but my shrimp is kind of just sticking to one spot on my rock and picking at it slowly. Is this okay? I would think he'd be moving around more...I guess I'll just keep an eye on him...

Alright, will do! Yes, I'm definetely going to have to look up that B-Ionic, I want to do corals so badly!! The algae isn't bubbly or hairy, so I guess it's fine, if anything, the turbo will have a little snack waiting for him! =)

    My 14gal BioCube

Thank you for the input! I've had the tank going since November of last year, I decided to stick an invert in to start instead of a damsel because I've heard that the first creature you put in becomes the dominant one...and I certainly don't want an aggressive damsel becoming king of the rock in...
