Got some crabs out of the ocean got Q's

I have done this with not so good results. I found a bunch of white leg hermits and put them in my tank, they did not like my blue and red leg hermits. They killed most of them. I had a lot of blue and red leg hermits. I was mad at myself. No parasites were transferred however, so I guess...

    My new 125 reef

Ok so I guess it worked. I just set this tank up about 3 weeks ago, transferred all of the fish/corals from my old 90 gallon. I had to put a ball valve on the pump which I dont like, but I got too much suction noise from the overflows. All is well in the tank so far. Your thoughts?

101 Tips to Beginning and Maintaining a Saltwater Aquarium

This is a very good thread to read. I especially like the one where it says "Be prepared to spend money." I run an aquarium maintenace business here in Atlanta, Ga and I wish all of my customers knew 1/4 of the things described in this list. But since they dont, they are prepared to spend...

    Will this filter work?

Does it have bio-wheels? If it does then I think it will work but the filter you have now is going to be your better option.

    Help Green Algae

I think what he is getting at is that your tap water may contain and excessive amounts of phosphate. Phosphate control is your best option. Seachem makes a product called Phosguard, it comes in a big container or in ready to use pouches. I would get (2) of the pouches (they come in a small...
