He is a Violiton Lionfish, Yes we had it on a stick & wiggled it head 1st at his mouth, he did eat it but quickly spit it back out, We also hatched live Brine Shrimp & he may have snapped at them but they were so small it was very hard to tell, can you tell us more about the feeder...

Yeah Thanks, That may end up being our last option, But we just puchased a Lionfish via online fish dealer & he's just not eating, Our last Lionfish ate dead Silversides BUT not this guy, Any other suggestions ?

We used Sally's Hatch Mix, They hatched out in about 24 hrs, The 1st batch took alot longer because we didn't have the water temp high enough, Needs to be atleast 80 deg., Our 2nd batch did GR8, We turn'd off the filter system & air pump & our smaller fish went nuts eating the Brine Shrimp...

We purchased a Brine Hatchery kit so we can feed them to our fish, 1st question is once they are placed into our tanks per instuctions, Whats to keep them from being immediatly pulled into the filter system thus ending the feeding before it begins & should we leave them in the container to grow...

So far they R doin GR8, We have (3) GSP in the tank with a Porcipine Puffer & a Dog Face Puffer & they get along GR8, Them GSP get very aggressive when they eat though.............Have a good day

Thanks for the info, We also researched online & are at this very moment aclimating 3 green spotted puffers that we purchased from Wal-mart about 4 hrs. ago, The water has reached 1.018 sg & we will aclimate until we reach 1.020 sg, We bought the largest 3 they had which is about 2-2.5 inches...

Can anyone inform us on aclimating a freshwater spotted puffer to survive in saltwater tank, we were told you could since they require low levels of salt anyway? Thanks John & Sherri
