am thinking of upgrading my lighting and wondering if someone could give me some different ideas. i saw some halides on a tank and liked the looks of it. is there a difference between vho and halides? cost, replacing the bulbs ect? i have a 75 gal fowlr. thanks

i have a regal tang 1 1/2 - 2 inches. woke up this morning to what looks like a blister over one of his eyes. been in the tank 1 1/2 weeks. my brother just got me some melafix. wondering if that is the correct rx and if i can treat the whole tank. 75 gal with lr and other fish shrimp...

tank was done cycling mar. 7th. 75 gal, 4 fish,11 crabs, 3 snails. feed couple of flakes in morning and frozen or pellets at night. change water every 7-14 days. did a change yesterday and now no ammonia.

checked parameters today and ammonia is high. scooter died 5-11. got minimal spike then and did water change, took care of it. is there anything else that would make it go high like leaving a molt in the tank or a crab dying?

75 gal....started cycling jan. 18th was done begining of mar.

my scooter died sometime last night. just checkin my levels amm 0.2, not sure on trites just checking. have r/o water in a bucket with just alittle salt for like a week. added more now, put heater in with air stone. how long should i let it sit before i do a water change?
