I set up my refugium today and bought some caulpura(sp).This was attatched to it.I think it's aptasia,but am not sure.I would hate to kill something if it's not a bad thing.

I just made some taller legs from a couple pieces of plywood.I just put them together with s-c-re-ws.They are ugly,but they work.

This has been growing on a piece of LR for the last two weeks and now I see two more of them starting to grow.They are red and look like little bubbles or balloons.Any ideas?

I just mix it with tank water and pour it in the tank.I've learned that a little goes a long way.

I would guess that maybe it's trying to reproduce,but I'm no expert.Hopefullysomebody more knowledgable than I will chime in.

actually the language I used was the word for someone without clothes starts with a N and ends with a D.So I guess I'm sorry that I am so profane.and I fixed it already.

What would cause a snail to leave it's shell.I found two empty shells this morning and then found one of the snails without it's shell climbing up the glass.I can't find the second one.I checked my water params and they look fine.I did see a hermit close to one of the shells,but it didn't move in.
