We've had the clown for over a year. I will try and add some pics later today, but after researching on this great site....I'm about 99.9% sure its.... Lymphocystis not really showing any symptons other than the growth, still eats good and very active.

Just wondering if anyone had an idea of what this could be. My clown developed the same in the last week. Thanks

We bought a frag of a xenia coral this weekend and I noticed there are a couple different corals on the rock. Any ideas of what they are? Trying to figure out if they are good or bad.. 1 2

I'm still kinda new to the saltwater, tank has been up and running for 10 months. In the last couple days, I've notice these white specks beginning to form everywhere. Any Ideas?

Tank is still new...but i've been doing a 4g water change every 2 weeks.....tank is a 23 gal. but with sand and rock displacement...i would say i'm lookin at 20g of water. Will try and do a weekly 2g change and see what that does I appreciate the help...this forum is like the "bible" for...

Found one of our hermit crabs dead today. Searched the forum for maybe some answers, seems like the usual answer is "Did it molt?" I'll tell you right now, its dead not a molt. Just trying to see what happened, any suggestions? parameters: salinity 1.025 ammonia 0 nitrite 0 nitrate 20 ph 7.8...

we have a 23g tank and we left our shrimp in pantyhose for 4 days, ammonia spike to around 4ppm and we did water change immediately to get it down some...tank took about 3 weeks total to cycle.

Update: They are Whelks.....wife called the lfs where we bought them yesterday, before she could finish speaking, the clerk told her to get them out of the tank quickly. Seems like they realized they sold the wrong thing.....oh well, off to the hour away lfs to take them back.

As for something to eat....actually the tank has been running for about 4 weeks....have plenty of algae and diatoms all over the place....took about 3 weeks for the tank to cylce and then we waited a week to put the CUC in. The kind of snails...i'm not sure.... we went to the not so LFS....about...

Long story short........our tank cycled last week and we decided to add some CUC to the tank....yesterday added some snails and crabs. This morning, I noticed that half the snails were climbing up the sides of the tank and where just hangin at the water line....Is this normal? parameters...

Would love to score some stuff as well....still new..tank only 2 mos old.....love to have a skimmer, lights/light fixture and a powerhead....will pay ship/handling....thanks
