Is there an easier way to get rid of coraline algae, I have quite a bit right now. I don't mind it on the back especially cause I have a black background, but the stuff on the sides and front are a pain.

My 90 gal currenly has a fine grade crushed coral substrait. After reading all the benifits of live sand i want to swap it out. Is there a way to safely change my substrait from crushed coral to the sand??? I currently have about 75 lbs for liverock in the tank as well
