Next time use a standard dry fly hook #20- #28 with a small chunk of squid on it, worked in seconds for me. You might want to pinch the barb on the hook with a pliers so the fish comes off easier.

The water from my tap as has high nitrates.I had been using it for water changes til I checked it. my lfs sells tank water for .25 cents per gal without salt. This seems to be a pain to make water changes for a 150 gal tank also not cheap.Is there a better way? thanks

LFS guy said that I should add more crushed coral to my base would help with nitrate reduction thanks Crabbie
