I found out about 10 years ago about making your own fish food that work great. But over the years I lost the recipe. It had brewers yeast, and bird vitamins and other things that I forgot. Can someone help?

I have two fish that show ich on them. I'd like to try the hypo but should I drop the salinity right down or over a couple days?. Also If I treat my fish in a Quarantine tank what about the tank I have taken the fish out of?. Is the tank ok, or do I have the treat the tank also with something?.
