    Green bubble

    Should I do more than just pick it off? It is not in my tank yet so I have the advantage not trying to kill it with out removing it. Should I also soak it in freshwater or dry it? I would rather make sure it is gone before putting it in even if I have to recure it.

    HOB skimmer for 55 gal.

    I would appreciate some imput on a HOB skimmer for a 55 gal. reef tank. I have seen a number of posts related to sump incorporated skimmers, but I need a HOB for my purposes. I have been looking at the Reef Octopus BH 100F. Any comments on this model or suggestions for others out there?
