Picture of my refugium and overflow. Should i use overflow for refugium or for closed loop?

How do i plumb a refugium that is in another room(opposite of wall and same floor) and sitting on a stand? I am currently using my overflow for closed loop. My refugium also has my protein skimmer in it. I really need help on this please.

My outlet for the main is at 4ft 5in and the inlet is 3 ft 8in. The line has to go 6infrom the floor then back up to 3ft8in. Will this set up work or should i just the run the pcx-55hp closed loop and get another pump to recircalate the refugium to main tank. So basically run two separate systems.
