I cant seem to stop the growth of this algae, or diatoms I have heard it could be. I was wondering would an emerald crab or some other invert manage this well? Turbo's do good on the rocks but don't touch the sand. Any ideas would be great, here is what I am talking about:

I see a lot of people saying its a bad idea to put anything in with a six-line already living in the tank, even if they are compatible. Anyone have any thoughts or experiences with this? He has never bothered my cleaner shrimp and the only other tank mate is a clown.
