    Yes, I have two sponges that whenever I do a water change, I usually squeeze em a bit in the same water of course (in a separate bucket of course..i'm not that much of an idiot!).. thanks man..

    I have had the first fish I started off with for the past 3 years, dwarf angel (flameback)..I'm not sure how hardy he is, but I am not the most experienced guy either. he has withstood my trials and errors and is an actually nice companion... She/he seems to be very happy and thriving..

    I have the HOB aquaclear 70. it moves the water around fairly well. But no powerhead/skimmer etc. I tended to stick with what was working, the fish was happy, and the rock was progressing...didn't want to mess anything up too much
