I have a buddy of mind with a 54 Gallon corner tank. He has these things on his live rock and doesn't know what they are. I have never seen them and don't know what to look up on google search. I hitchhiker list and couldn't find a match. Here are couple pictures.

My hippo had ick from stress when I first put her in the tank. I lasted a couple weeks. Then it went away. But, there is medication for that as well if it just doesn't go away. I heard blue hippo tend to get ick easily.

I just bought this coral. A pink porcillapora coral or a "califlower coral". After I picked it up. I noticed there were two crabs on it. Acropora crabs I believe.

48" VHO with Ice cap ballast. One 420nm bulb. 3 50/50 bulbs.

it was really loud wide open. but, I slowed the flow down and that did the trick.

Check with lifereef some time. I am using there skimmer and loving every minute of it. The price isn't too bad either.

If you drill you tank like that site. I would think having more flow you need would be advised. But, that is just if you go that route.

hey brookebevel. where in texas are you from. we have a person here in abilene that houses a couple sharks also.

I have used the remora C. Its was a pretty good skimmer for me. Right now I am using the lifereef skimmer and that is pretty good so far. Its producing some nice skimmate.

Here are somemore pictures of the tank now. I just added a lifereef refugium,skimmer, and overflow.
