    So I just got a 6 line wrasse. From a 'reputable' lfs. Anyways, I drip acclimated the fish, put it in the tank and it hid for the rest of the night. Switched off the lights. Next day Lights are on and its just swimming in between rocks and crevices, doing its thing. Still not coming out --...

    hahahahaha, oh u've scared me now.. I got a 'handful' of chaeto yesterday... and i just put it in my tank, let it float around .. looks nice.. but not if its gonna grow the rate you just told.. im gonna have to get a bigger hob filter. lol

    I hope others respond here as well. I am new, so take what I say with a grain of salt! In my opinion, if you are reading ammonia -- any readings at all -- then no, your tank has not finished cycling at all. It is very possible that your cycle will be a short cycle, and not one with 'crazy...

    Sooo I've had this frogspawn for 2 weeks -- it was doin great.. in fact to me, it looked like it was growing very very well in just the 2 week span. There are 5 heads, and all of a sudden one head just looked like it melted/melting. No idea why. This is a 10g thats almost 2 months old -- live...

    ummm... @#$#@ was the freshwater dip pH supposed to have been the same as the tanks? probably right... argh... got back from teh lfs -- they told me that any dipping would 'KILL' the corals..and the only thing I could do was buy a 30 dollar coral banded shrimp, that MIGHT eat everything... he...

    just did a fresh water dip -- and around 10 of these bugs fell out -- they are definitely nudibranches... so now how do i get them out of my tank?
