does the tank have a skimmer ? I would hope so. Make sure you change the media when you do a water change. Does the tank have UV sterilizer ? if so you should also change the uv bulb every 6 months, I dont have a uv sterilizer on my 90g tank and i have been fine for a year. Good luck, post up...
