I understand what you guys are saying, and I am sure there is pleanty of light at 60ft + with clear water. But, someone would have to show me proof with a light meter that the sun is as bright at 60 ft+ as Metal Halide light is in VERY clear water at a depth of 12 inches.

That tank looks great Plum, but I just can't see how it is 262 gallons. I am not saying you are lying, it just doesn't look that big to me. My tank is only 40 gallons bigger than yours and mine is 8 feet long 2 feet deep and 30" high.
