Hi everyone!! Just getting back into SWF after about 20 yrs. 65-gallon tank (60x15x15"). Planning for FOWLR. Not in a big hurry to stock it. Hoping for a little reassurance. I bought about 60 lbs of live argonite sand and 50# or so, of base rock from a guy who took down a tank a month or so ago...

I'm thinking about SWF again. Not sure how I'll filter, but I'm thinking about Eheim, HOB and skimmer with some live rock. I'm not leaning toward a DSB. I've never had a SW tank smaller than 65 gallon before. Would the 40 be too much trouble? Would it need a sump? Would the 135 cost a lot more...

Does anyone have a complete Tunze filter system? Can you tell us about it? Thanks.

Oceanic dark cherry oak stand matches tank. Like new condition. Glass cover and matching fluorescent light strips. $1,000. I'd rather not ship it anywhere. I also have an Ocean Clear filter and Little Giant 5MD-SC pump...offers?

I hope this doesn't offend too many people. I'm considering trying it again. It worked well (years ago) for a fish only tank. My tank is 30 gallons, with a HOB filter. I was thinking sand, RF UGF with 2 hagen powerheads, maybe the HOB or an Eheim canister... Any input? Thanks.

Going to put one on a 135 gal Malawi tank. I can't remember if it matters where you put the "T" for the intake hose. I lost the instructions.

I saw a 135 for sale. Every glass edge was polished, and most were beveled. Is Oceanic making them all (except the "E-series") this way now? Thanks

I like to use the venturi on powerheads to keep the water surface clean. Can the bubbles stress or harm fish? In a SW tank, the bubbles are really small. Thanks
