Hello, I looked at getting one of these a few years ago. From my understanding it's not a coral at all. The pics I have seen are very misleading. I also understand they don't last very long, they sort of waist away. See what anyone else has to say but IMO I'd buy something else.

Yeah it was brand new. It's never been in saltwater even. I have the impeller torn apart there is no build up at all on it. The ceramic shaft just won’t allow the impeller to spin.

Tom, I could give you one or two stalks unattached to a rock. Most of the stalks have about 10 "waving hands". The rocks of xenia I'm selling are about the size of a fist 4-5 inches filled with 5-10 stalks that then split into even more. You'd easily pay $100 for these at a pet store around here.
