I just received a 90 gal for Christmas from my boyfriend. My substrate in my FOWLR tank is roughly 40 lbs of crushed coral. What substrate do you recommend for a reef? Should I go with sand or crushed coral? Also, how much needs to cover the bottom? Thanks for your help and suggestions.
