it was custom ordered through Old Town Aquarium in Chicago, i don't know who the manufacturer is. it is made of 3/8" acrylic

I may have a 75 for sale in a month or two... but a 75 is not much of an upgrade from a 55.

naw, thanks for your reply, he died while i was at work today. even dead i can't see any signs of disease, must have just been stress from the nitrates.... *sigh* and i was so pleased to have been able to keep a cowfish for over a year...

......it's cycling because i just moved it to my new apartment, using 50% old water and 50% new water. i've had the cowfish for over a year and been keeping saltwater fish for 3 years. or did you not read that part about moving the tanks and were just looking for something to jump on someone about?

i have a small (< 3") cowfish in my 29 gal... i'm not really sure what's wrong with him..... he was okay this morning, then i came home tonight and he's lying around on the bottom, and i found him stuck to the filter twice. he's not pumping his gills or showing any other signs of distress or...

one theory is that ich is constantly present and all it takes is a drop in the immune system to bring on an infestation. i've had ich breakouts in tanks with no new additions..... there's not much you can do except to bolster their immune systems with garlic and vitamins and keep them eating....

anyone in the midwest (i'm in the chicago/milwaukee area) looking at getting rid of an approx 180 gal tank? with stand, lights, and filters would be good, but i'd take one without too.... i wouldn't be in a position to take it until early next year but i thought i should start looking early......
