I was wondering if there is such a crab that their shells grow with the actual crab itself?? I didn't really feel like adding all the excess shells but I will if I have to. My staris a green star and all I do to feed it is put half of a salad shrimp in the tank and push it down torwards him(careful not to scare him away) and normally he will grab it with it's tiny little arms and will move it to his mouth. I normally only feed him once a week.:)

Will Peppermint shrimp eat all kinds of algae or just some types? I was also wondering if they are only carnivores. Sorry, I don't know much about the diet of Pep. Shrimp.

Lemon/yellow gobies are both neat. also like the person said above a yellow watchman goby, but be careful they are notorius for jumping out of the tank if you don't have it covered. check out a pic of one of these guys and see what you think.:cool:

I tested my pH about an hour ago and it measuerd 8.4 I was wondering if this is a serious thing because I know 8.2 is normal so this isn't way high. The reason I ask is because I have some pH down and the directions say to add 2 drops per gallon and I have a 40gal. tank, I don't know I guess...

No, according to my trusty book here, they are more of an orange color with blue wertical stripes by the head. They only grow an inch long (cute lil' thing) and im gonna get two of them.
