I have a 55 gal. One of my fish is showing signs of bacterial disease and I was wondering if it is okay to put medication in the tank with the live rock. The only thing I see on the lr is feather dusters, will medication kill these? Thanks!

Hi everyone, My levels are still the same from the last posting. It has been almost 2 1/2 weeks at these same readings. Is this normal or is there something wrong with my tank?

All of the readings are as follows: ph-8.2 ammonia-.25 nitrite-over 1.00 nitrate-50 I have 20lbs of ls but no lr yet. Is it safe to add the lr now? The fish seem to be doing okay, no outward signs of distress. Thanks for your help.

I have a 55 gal tank that I set up 9/21. I have two damsles cycling it. My question is that the nitrites have been very high since 10/12. Is it normal for the nitrites to stay really high for this long?
