    ? about new fuge

I recently set up a fuge with live rock and cheato, I'm wondering how long it will take to see a reduction in hair algea? Also, how long should my lights be on? I am currently running it completely opposite of my tank so it's on for about 11 hours or so. Thanks!

    Should I give up???

I'm not usually one to give up on things, but after battling cyano for about 4 months I am thinking of selling out. I have always had constant readings in my tank. It is a 29 gal with a 7 gal sump and has been set up for 1 1/2 years. My readings are amm. and trites = 0, trates = 5, alk 8 dKh...

The biggest one I've grown so far!!

Check out the size of this bubble I took out of my tank (that's a quarter in my hand). There is one more that is larger than this, but it's behind all of my rock and I can't get to it.

    ID Please!!

 I'm stumped....I've looked all over the internet and can't figure it out. I've attatched two pics and both are horrible, but maybe you'll get the idea! It's about an inch long and is cream colored with darker stripes. It has no visible antena, just looks like a blob that moves around!

90 degrees! Heat wave in the ocean?!

I recently did a stupid thing and ended up with my tank reaching 90 deg. Anyway, I only lost a frogspawn, bubble, and maybe my brain. My clam, fish, and other corals all survived. One of my questions is did this also kill my biological filtration? I haven't seen a trace of ammonia, but was...

    Sliming Frogspawn

Is it normal when you feed a frogspawn for it to send out streams of slime? I fed mine directly with some invert food tonight and when I did it sent out slime like stuff that caught a lot of food, but then it just let it go and the slime floated away?? Do they not like my food??

    Question about my brain

Well not the one in my head...I know it's messed up! The one in my tank...well I'm not even sure it's a brain. First it has several "mouths" with one of them being larger than the other. Which one do I feed? All of them? And is krill a good food choice? Second, part of its skeleton is...
