Thank you. This site has been very helpful. The tank is now about 8 months old. We've been testing all the parameters except for dkh (don't have a text kit for this yet). The nitrite, nitrates, and ammonia are zero. PH has been 8.0 - 8.2 and calcium around 400 or so. We are using RO water...

I had a horrible time with aiptasia - dozens of them all over my 55 gallon tank. I ended up buying about 6 peppermint shrimp. Initially, the shrimp were small and did a very poor job. It took about 4-6 weeks but they finally cleared the tank.
