I just got done testing for phosphates in my tank. My Seatest phosphate kit showed that I have .4 in my tank. I tested my RO/DI water and it was 0.0 . How did phosphates get in there?! Is this normal for a cycling tank? Also checked my Ammonia 0, Nitrites 1.8, Nitrates 50.

After cycling a tank what should I add first, a cleanup crew or a fish or two ? This is for a reef tank and I got no hitchhikers with my live rock. :(
